Simple question, has Creature Comforts made it to Atlanta in can or bottle form yet? I'm making a trip up to Atlanta next week and I heard a few months back that it "should" be in Atlanta by February.

Bottles of Southerly Love came and went back in December. Cans of Tropicalia and Athena are supposed to hit Atlanta by the end of March. You can find stuff on draft in bars and at growlers shops.

I heard by the end of March their (2) cans will be in ATL. I had Tropicalia last weekend and it was really great. It will definitely be a beer I pick up each time I travel to ATL.

Bottles of Southerly Love made it to ATL but are long gone. Cans are coming here in late March, they are saying. Lots of CC stuff will be at growler shops when you come up, bring some growlers. Also, if you want cans and can drive but don't want to drive all the way to Athens, call Turtle Creek package store on 316. I have seen cans of Athena there but call first. Hope this helps, maybe they have Tropicalia.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I am heading up after work for a concert at the Masquerade and only have about an hour to kill before the concert starts so I will be very limited on time. I was specifically looking for Tropicalia so I guess I'll have to wait until March. Follow-up question, what's the best beer store within a very short vicinity to the Masquerade? Thanks again!

I'd stop by My Friend's Growler Shop on Memorial on your way to the concert. Prob. best bet to get some Tropicalia. Greens Ponce for beer, I would think.

As of 2/18/15 at 2:46pm (last time their website was update), My Friend's Growler Shop on Memorial had both Tropicalia and Athena available for growler fills.

You guys are awesome! That sounds like what I'll be doing then. What's the name of the bottle shop? Is it Green's?

And what's the approximate price of a 64 oz fill? Sorry for the bombardment of questions guys. GO DAWGS

    Yes, Green's. I usually pay b/w 7-9 for a 32. Should be around 15 for a 64 I think.

Any word on whether or not any of these places still have Tropicalia available for growler fills? Thursday is right around the corner!

Growler stores rotate out beers pretty quickly, best bet is to check their sites/call them when en route.

    Greens on Ponce...

Literally can walk across North Ave from the Masquerade, to the back of the Kroger. Walk through the parking lot and there's a Greens. Great selection of beer, but will probably not have CC in cans by then.

Thanks again for the replies. Looks like I'll be waiting on the CC until my next trip up to Atlanta (or Athens) but that's okay. I'm sure I can find SOMETHING that catches my eye. Does Greens do mix sixers?
