Joining some family in Crescent Beach for a couple of days in late August. Any good bottle shops / bars / restaurants I should check out? I'm Orlando-based, but I'm never really up in that part of the state and completely oblivious as to any good beer stuff up there.

I did see a thread where someone said Rendezvous & JP Henley's were worth checking out, but anything else I should look out for?

I stayed in St. Augustine Beach two summers ago and made Café 11 (http://www.originalcafe11.com/) my home base for much of the trip. It was in walking distance within the beach house I was renting and had a nice selection of all-Florida beers (don't expect CCB from them--but that may have since changed). You're from Florida, so you may have a different opinion of their beers, but they were all new to me. Nothing fancy, but a 3-7 happy hour and easygoing fun. Fit the bill for both coffee and beer near the beach.

We'll be about 20 minutes south of the Spanish Quarter on the beach, but will def be in the city proper throughout the trip (my parents are going for a month while the rest of us come and go depending on work, spouses, and children). Definitely something to remember. Thanks!

JP Henley's is definitely the place to go. Great tap selection, relaxing atmosphere, nice staff. Rendezvous another great place. Used to bottle selection only but now have a small tap selection.

Jp and A1A ale works, pretty much everywhere downtown you can find bars and restaurants. I recommend the conch house for good food and Sunday fun day and Colombia for a nice meal it's Cuban and the sangria is delicious . Also st augstine distillery is also worth checking out along with San Sebastián winery all these are also downtown.

Is Colombia the same as the The Colombia in Tampa & Celebration? Love some good Cuban food.

Here are 2 other places which have not been mentioned within walking distance of downtown St Aug.

    Mojo BBQ
MoJo is close to the parking deck and has a nice outside sitting area. They have mostly local beers on tap.

    Barley Republic
Barley Republic is located across the street from the parking lot for Columbia. Their bottle list is much better than thier taps & they also have a nice outside seating area.

If you go by the outlet mall off exit 316 on I-95 you can stop by Mile Marker Brewing

    Cheers
    Mike
