Just got back from Seattle but I wanted to share that I had an extraordinary IPA at Reuben's Brews last night. Crikey IPA was not in the BA database until I entered it so I wanted to give a shout out to the brewer and recommend it to those of you in the area who haven't tried it. It is a juicy as they come and deserves broader recognition than it has received to date.

I can live with juicy, as long as it's not dank.

You pretty much got it on its grand release. I go to Reuben's like once a week and I haven't had it yet.

I was there last night, and they said that they will have 12 IPA's on tap for National IPA Day. And yes...Crikey is awesome. Expat is even better when they release it.

I had not heard of this brewery until my trip out to Seattle and I noticed that they have bottled several of their releases. What has been the quality of their bottled releases?

Turrible, just turrible. Good thing you didn't take any home with you, your friends would have laughed at you.

For a brewery that doesn't pride themselves on IPAs, they make really good ones (Summer, Blimey, Expat, etc.).

    And yeah, shut up.

IPA Day is Aug 7th and they will have 12 different ones on tap. Their anniversary party should be fun too. Love Reuben's!

Picked up a Crikey today at Bottleworks, but CDAs really aren't my thing.

They had this on cask this weekend in the taproom and dear lord it was good. This cask version was one of the best things I've had this year.

Traveling to Seattle next week and my research turned up Reuben's Brews as a can't miss place to visit. Guess I was right [for a change].

I think it's funny how Reuben's has gone from a brewery that didn't really show an interest in making to IPAs in the beginning to a burgeoning IPA powerhouse in Seattle.
