Per Crooked Stave's Facebook page the Blackberry Petite was being pulled from the barrels today and being prepared for bottling.

Saw the same thing. No new news on the Denver brewery huh? Or release date for the Blackberry Petite?

Nope, he's been scouting out locations in the RiNo area. But the first release [of the reserve society] is supposed to happen in April now...

Anybody know if this will be hitting stores? Just wondering if this is only available to people in the cellar reserve club or not.

According to this page, it's not a cellar reserve exclusive so will probably see store shelves.

Sounds good, hopefully it is better than the pure guava

Talking with Chad a couple weeks ago (and over several beers...which makes it a bit fuzzy) I think he said that he's "out of beer" right now. I'm assuming that his bottles are gone and the next batches are not quite ready for bottling. The WWWB is next, and the WWWG will be tweaked to make it year 'round...I think.

WWBG and I THINK WWBO...O or Y, will be made into seasonal beers or constantly produced beers, but under different names. The WWB project will likely run its course when all of the wheel is done, and some of those beers will be with us permanently, others just something to speak of in memory (or when pulling from the cellar!)

Look forward to trying this (if the funds can support it).

Off topic but does anyone know when the door shuts on purchasing Cellar Reserve memberships for this year?

No clue, looks like they are still for sale. My guess is they will stay open until he hits 300 or whatever the number is. This update got me pumped again about purchasing mine.

He's closing it at the end of March, or when it hits 300, whichever comes first.

Where are Crooked Stave beers sold in the Denver area? Or are they only sold in the Fort Collins area?

I wish the membership was for life. I understand they can't give you beers forever but I can't see spending that much per year. Is it just me?

Are any of there beers Outstanding? As i look at all the reviews i didn't see a single one even hit the 90 mark..

I've only tried the petite pure guava. It wasn't bad but quite boring.IMO

WWBG was one of those beers that made me think, I should brew a brett IPA with galaxy hops because I could drink a ton of it. Petite Pure Guava was bad, just smelled like vomit/wet dog and I couldn't get around that.

The PG was a TON better after 6 months. It showed how different a beer can be at different stages. But at first, it was....off

WWBO was very nice. WWBG was also nice and highlighted (highlit?) the flavor of hops rather than bitterness. Late addition for the win! Fertile Soil is solid and the WWBY is quite unique.
