Davis Bottle Shoppe in Davis came up with some. My cousin picked me up 2 each of the Surrette, Vieille and St. Bretta. 58$ out the door.

Love me some CS. I usually just bring it back with me when I do my monthly trip to CO. Can find it everywhere there. Now if Trinity (better sours and saisons than CS IMHO), Odell, Great Divide, Upslope and Renegade Brewing would come here I'd be a happy camper. Oh how I miss CO.

Tried the three that made it to CA so far. Enjoyed both Surette Provision Saison and Vieille Artisanal Saison but the St. Bretta (summer) had a very strange "chemical-like" off flavor. Anyone else notice this, or did I get a bad bottle?

my bottle of st bretta didn't have off flavors but this batch was much worse than the spring batch in my opinion. hopefully they bounce back next time because the first one was great. give it another try when fall comes out.

this batch of surette was fucking great though.

Saw these hit Bine and Vine. They were gone the same day - didn't snag any :slight_frown:

if it makes it to CA, the hop savant galaxy is really good (apparently just bottled in last few days); much better than original hop savant imo

Recently been drinking a bunch of St.Bretta, I had one bottle that had a very strange distinct metallic flavor. All the other bottles tasted good. 1 out of 14

Surette is the best non-HF saison I've ever had.
