Holy moly. Is anyone else out of their mind over getting Crooked Stave here today? Amazing stuff coming in. Went to the brewery in Denver last year. Small place, but these guys do really amazing barrel aged beers.

Really. Beer Trappe and Shenanigans. Is that crazy or what?

Interesting. Is there 12% Imports Distro there or something? I know that's how NYC is getting it (they're distro'ing several 12% beers in CO [Tilquin is one of them, can't remember the rest]and in return 12% is distro'ing their beers in NYC)

I had read about that NY deal. People in retail know more than I do. I guessed Shelton, but it may indeed be 12%. We get a decent amount of Evil Twin, and that's 12%. We've also seen Tilquin as well.

I am very excited to see this. I just had all 4 varieties. Surette, Hop Savant, Vieille, St. Bretta.

Does anybody know if this is a temporary distribution or if Crooked Stave is here to stay?

Maybe this means we're eligible for Cellar Reserve distribution?! :grimacing:

I liked the beer, but didn't get much of a hop presence at all, did you?

The nose was all funk and blue cheese, hops were a lot more subtle but I really only got them on the tongue. I loved the dichotomy there.

Not much hop, but then again, I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering it said it was brewed with brett
