I just got a Crooked Stave Bretta as an extra in a trade. Normally I'd just drink it, but I just returned from VT with a ton of growlers to get through, and also just had a couple other nice trades land.

Is it possible this will age with some grace? I've got some other brett beers aging, but for some reason this one feels like I should somehow fit it into the fridge.

Side question - HF Sue, it's a BA IPA, not sure if I should drink this one tomorrowish, or if I can let it wait for a bit.

That St. Bretta can wait while you get through your growlers. That being said, I personally would drink it within a few months while the citrus is still detectable. Having had that beer multiple times, I would say that it won't be one to go down hill too quickly.

Re: Sue. If you haven't had it, drink it now. It has some nice hop presence which sets it apart from the typical wine/funk offerings. That said, if you have multiples, I'd age some to compare. The hops will fade and I'm sure the bugs will take over a bit and start to make it a pretty different beer.

Agree. That's one of the few CS beers I would not cellar.
