Hello all. So this may be a bit premature, but I'm too excited not to start thinking of the possibilities so here we are. I am moving to Portland from Northern VA in the summer, and am looking to make some stops at some great breweries on the way. Since I won't have time to stop and enjoy onsite due to my travelling schedule I am only looking to pick up bottles. Sucks, but what are you going to do? So here is my question, I am going to be passing through the following cities, and am looking for some great breweries on the way. I can't deviate from my map, so please don't tantalize me with options I really shouldn't consider. But anything in between the following cities that isn't out of the way would be great. The following cities I'll be stopping through are: -Columbus, Ohio -Indianapolis, Indiana -Saint Louis, Missouri -Kansas City, Missouri -Denver, Colorado -Salt Lake City, Utah -Boise, Idaho Thanks everybody!
When in Columbus, you cannot go wrong with Columbus IPA! ninja edit: CIPA can be found at any area supermarket.
Rockmill brews Belgian-style beers in Lancaster--just outside of Columbus. If you can't go to the brewery you can buy it in Columbus. (Not cheap, but I really like the tripel.) http://rockmillbrewery.com/brews.php http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/23737
