how does this beer exist? seriously who here has parted coin to try this? they must sell enough to warrant continuing production each year but what crownie drinker will buy a 750ml bottle for the price of two cartons?
Just the usual annual crown ambassador bash - nothing to see here folks. Don't get me wrong the beer is terrible for its price but if there is a market for it then why not keep producing it as fosters at the end of the day aren't in the charity business of giving their beers away at below cost.
Fair question though. Are the people who buy them regular crownie drinkers or craft beer drinkers used to paying more? And what, if any, craft beer might it be comparable to?
In my experience, they are usually neither Not much...as a noted Belgium Strong Lager, I wouldn't put it in the same category as a Belgium Strong Ale to which there are numerous Australian incarnations.
