Any stout can be crushable if you run it over with your vehicle or something heavy.

I find a can of Murphy's to be a nice way to end a day. Oh, it's not heavy. But, it seems to hit the spot more than others these days.

Sam Adams Cream Stout...it's probably the only SA beer I still buy semi regularly. I don't usually drink low abv stouts but that one really hits the spot.
I've been meaning to try the coffee nitro stout too

I am a high ABV bourbon barrel sipper myself. If I am going to crush something it's gonna be an IPA, IPL or lager. Never had Guinness but I like brews like Siberian Nights and KBS. For lighter fare it's Storm King or Breakfast Stout.

Care to elaborate or cite a source for that "rip" ? Are you suggesting that Yuengling dropped their Porter from their portfolio? Still listed on their OUR BEER webpage.

Anything is possible, but it would be surprising given that it's probably Yuengling's oldest brand (they claim the same for their Lord Chesterfield Ale, but I doubt that very much - beer brands such as that just didn't exist in the early 19th century. Obviously, they did brew ales as well as porter, stout and (eventually) lagers).

They even claimed to be "last" US brewer of a porter in the US at one point a few decades ago - but by then the "craft" era had started, and new porters from Anchor, New Albion and Sierra Nevada had hit the shelves, and Stegmaier Porter (via The Lion) and Narragansett Porter were also still being marketed in bottles (and a few other draught-only porters were still around, too - like Krueger's Old Surrey Porter).

I do not care about a beer's "crushability" (is that a word?) since I prefer to enjoy a beer over 30-45 minutes, but Murphy's Irish Stout gets my vote. It's nitro, it's thin, it was gone from my glass in under 5 minutes...but it was a one-and-done for me. So does the fact that I didn't want more than one mean it wasn't crushable?

Wiseacre's Gotta Get Up To Get Down. One of my new favorite beers. It's like a sweet iced coffee in the morning.

Um... well, I can go through a bottle of Velvet Merkin by myself in about half an hour. Maybe Velvet Merlin, then, would be crushable... I think 'crushable' in stouts has to be defined differently than 'crushable' for crushable beers.

Guinness is easy to drink and I can go through several relatively quickly if I feel the need.
Mayflower Porter might be worthy of the term 'crushable.' It's certainly worthy of the term 'delicious.'

I can't say I've ever 'crushed' a stout. However, most milk stouts tend to flow faster for me, since they're sweeter. Still won't drink a 12 oz faster than about 20-30 min though.

african-brewed Guiness Foreign Extra Stout is very crushable despite of a high abv, as many big empty bottles consumed on several hot western african nights proof:wink:
For me personally, also high abv stouts can be very drinkable.
My favorite stouts to "crush" are baltic porters like Zywiec Porter or Baltika Porter...To me they are quaffable in the same way a dark Doppelbock is.

I second tree house single shot. Also, prop 14. It tastes so good it seems to disappear from my glass very quickly.

If I considered KBS "crushable", I'd be worried I was doing it wrong.

It's like saying that dessert was "swallowable" and I just decided to not savor it.

With that said, I'd say something like Conclave's Espresso Stout or LH's Nitro or Kane's Port Omna, but anything over 7%... you shouldn't be "crushing"?
