$100 for two bottles and then I get to buy bottles at the low low price of $24-38 per?!!! What a bargain and with their good business sense this has to be a sure fire winner!

Eh it's still tempting at that price point. Chalk it up to each of those 750s being ~$30 and then a glass costing $10 or so (let's assume there are two glasses) puts you at $80 and then $20 for the convenience fee of being able to order bottles which potentially may be limited enough to not make it to the public. Certainly something for me to consider.

My card says I'm a Lifetime Member, so I shouldn't need to pay anything for this, right?

Definitely out for this one. When I saw that the bottles ranged from $24-$38 that was enough for me.

Casey EF is $80/year, you get a glass and ONE member only bottle, the rest of the (fruited) bottles are $30-$36 on the highest end. So I don't think CS is too far out of line here.

The difficulty here is the brand they've created around mis-communication, non-communication, employee treatment and going back on their word in certain instances. Aside from Persica and one or two beers exhibiting diacetyl a few years ago, their beer is still extremely good.

I’m ISO a trustee if anyone local can help out. I’m happy to give access to some
Of the allocations, and send nice thank you boxes.

I had a bunch of tradin history on here but it looks to have been wiped out.

I honestly don't know anyone who signed up for a second lifetime...or whatever you want to call it. Even though it was targeted at the local audience, I think it is/was probably more beneficial for other regions. We're a little spoiled when it comes to wild/brett/mixed-ferm beers, and I can get my CS fix at Old Chicago now.

They should throw in a shirt or something wearable for this club. Basically, you're getting a glass (who doesn't have glassware anymore?), and two bottles of beer for $100. Then the chance ("subject to availability") to purchase more beer. And a small discount in the taproom...that you have to pay for. The "first option to renew membership" and "online portal" are fluff, not value. Having a shirt included not only adds value, it serves as advertising (tax write-off?)

    So... two questions:
    1) Has anyone heard what Cheers! 2017 is style / flavor-wise?
    2) Is anyone available to be a trustee this year? I'm not looking to max out every time, only with certain of the listed beers.

Sour Rose in six packs is mighty fine. I'll pass on the memberships.

I'm trustee'ing for a fellow BA and I have to say I'm impressed at the initial beer offerings, and their fruit sours and specialty beers are $24-$28

They seem to be doing a lot of fruit mixed with different wine barrels & even a gin-barrel aged saison

    FRAMBOISE

Golden Sour Ale Aged in Oak Barrels with Raspberries, Cherries & Vanilla Bean
Our modern approach to this old world style utilizes the addition of cherries as a source of filtration for the raspberries resting on top. Balancing out the boldness of the whole fruit and the unique white wine barrels in which this beer was aged, we added vanilla beans to create a complex, slightly sweet finish.

    $28 / 750ml
