For Connecticut-ites living near NYS line or otherwise traveling to NY, what beers do you look for that you can't find in the Nutmeg state?

I'm going to be traveling back and forth to Huntington are (Long Island) on business multiple times over next 6mos

This is what I've seen so far in 1st trip: Firestone Walker, Ballast Point and Bell's

What else should I be looking for?

Westbrook, Knee Deep, Cigar City are 3 more that pop to mind quickly.

    Almanac

Not sure how you are going, but a detour to the Armonk DeCicco's would be highly recommended on one of the trips home

Knee Deep would be #1 if i could find it fresh. cigar city worth checking for.

i've seen thirsty dog wulver in NYC but not in CT. could be i'm behind on what's in CT these days.

i'd advise growlers of peekskill and other half if you see them.

I'm a Fairfield County resident who makes frequent trips to Halftime and DeCiccos in Westchester. Some of the beers I usually look to pick up are Jai Alai, Bells Two Hearted and Expedition, Almanac sours, Great Divide Yeti and Oatmeal Yeti, and Alesmith Speedway Stout.

I'm not a big fan of Firestone's shelf beers, but they're always available. Racer and other Bear Republic offerings are also everywhere but the real challenge is finding some that is anywhere close to fresh.

Sometimes you can find some Prairie bottles at the right shop. Shelf Bruery bottles are always around. If you like Gose, it's pretty easy to find Westbrook or Anderson Valley six-packs.

I'm sure that I'm forgetting some stuff here, but there are plenty of offerings to choose from that we can't get here in CT.
