Unless I missed something, shocked there is no thread for this yet.
I have heard regular, Vanilla, Wheat Wine and Orange coming to CT in some form of staggered release. Apparently no Coffee. Coffee variant is apparently a Barleywine variant, which I don't think we're getting.
    Other thoughts, rumors, confirmations?

It was posted in another thread that we’re getting bramble rye as well, but not sure if that’s true.

Total wine in Norwalk had variants. But they only received about a case of each.

How do you figure? Plenty of places got variants and still plenty of regular left

Both Crazy Bruce's had reg, vanilla, and bramble according to their FB page. I can verify Bristol location that was true. Saw a case of bramble, a case of vanilla, and a whole dolly of cases of reg. No idea if they had more cases of the variants out of sight. I doubt it though. I was there 15-20 mins before open. By open there was probably a dozen people with limits of 1 of each variant and 2 regs per person. Variants were about $25 each and reg was around half of that price. It seems if you want BCBS variants in CT you need to be at a decent bottle shop before open and they will likely be gone within 20 minutes.

Was referencing variants. Not sure where you are in CT (what distributor services your packies) but 2 of my locals got no variants, citing some sort of pissing match b/n Goose Island and HDI. I am not an insider so I don't know. Maybe the stores were just holding for their über special customers.

    I
i live in simsbury and a couple of the regular packies I go to had regular/vanilla/and bramble. Like Mass I’m thinking most ct stores got a case of vanilla/bramble and a few cases of regular

It looks like the whole state got Vanilla and Bramble, but only Fairfield County/shoreline received Midnight Orange. Haven’t heard yet if Wheatwine showed up.

They had Wheatwine, along with Vanilla and regular, at CT Beverage Mart in Wallingford. No clue how much they had, since all of it was in the backroom. Want to say they were charging $26 for the Wheatwine, around $18 for the Vanilla, and $13 for the regular.

Looks like Stew Leonard’s got their delivery later in the day. With that said, Danbury is sold out but the Newington shop hasn’t had a delivery yet (or so I’ve been told). I wonder what other shops around the state are still waiting for theirs.
