Wondering how many other CT mash men we have here. I’m looking for some fellow hop heads to brew with.

I brew a min of once a week (week day nights or weekend anytime). All grain brewer, all kinds of beers, harvest and propagate yeast, just built a single tier 3 half keg system, I brew both ales and lagers, I keg and force carbonate most beers, and I live in Middlebury.

Right now with the wonderful winter weather I’m setting up in my garage to gain access to my well tank for water to brew with and washing kegs. Come spring I’ll set up my outbuilding as a brewing man cave. But the garage is working out just fine for now.

Good to see other CT homebrewers here, I'm a partial mash brewer in South Windsor looking to move into all-grain soon. Would definitely enjoy an opportunity to assist on an all-grain brew day.

I was going to do that Krusty but didn’t know if the mods would want to keep home brewing related post n home brewing area. Guess I could give it a shot.

Gentlemen you’re more than welcome to come watch me brew a batch and learn or whatever. I can convert your recipes to all grain or you can brew it the way you do now. If you want to do an all grain I can walk you through brewing your own. More than willing to help you out.

I’m thinking Sunday may be my next opportunity to fire up. You guys free Sunday?
    What’s a good day/night for you?

Hey everyone. I'm Chris. I just started brewing at home. In the process of gathering more equipment and recipies as well as general knowledge. I just bottled one of those Mr. Beer kits and I have a Craft Beer sets fermenting. Next I am going to set up a set I was given from Maltose and a recipe I got from them.

I'm going to join the facebook page and join the fun. Glad to see others in the area are brewing too!

I might not brew another batch again until March or so, but I brew all-grain in Manchester and you would be welcome to visit me on my driveway next time I am brewing if you are interested.

If you bring your kettle and burner, you would be welcome to use my mash tun and give it a go.
