I am a big supporter of Kent Falls. Both their beer and their opperation. I look forward to whatever they put out. Cheers!

Well said. That blog post was fricken hilarious. Derrick was indeed a homebrewer but if you've read any of his Bear Flavored blog its pretty obvious he's not f'ing around. Super nice guy as well and he's been putting out some awesome and interesting farmhouse/sours/bretts/goses, and are now doing some cleaner beers (Super Sparkle is killer). In addition Kent Falls got some permits to open a tasting room and I believe that may be open spring/summer of 2016. Jon at Steady Habit did a barrel aged collab with Ed at Lasting Brass that is still aging away at SH....can't wait for that to come out. Will be cool to see what SH and KF put together. Loving the growth of the beer scene in CT. We're pretty lucky.

the DIPA jon and ed made is excellent too.

CT is definitely improving steadily (no pub intended). love kent falls, love steady habit. stubborn beauty improvement curve has been pretty sharp too--really loved the last DIPA i had by them. still haven't tried beer'd, but i believe everyone that they're great.

p.s. spring summer kent falls tasting room, if that happens and includes the kind of IPAs they made this year, goodbye summer.

Kent is a helluva drive for me, but if this happens for sure I will have to take the trip. Was planning on doing a Durham Fair/Steady Habit day, but I ended up going to VT (not a bad tradeoff), so Steady Habit is next on my list still.

Great positivity in this thread, enjoying all the CT beer love. @NobleJayJesse we are indeed lucky!

Make it happen! It is such an easy drive from branford. I have probably spent more time driving to nebco dealing with new haven traffic versus heading east to steady habit.

Good point, just never have a reason to be in that area. Will have to make an excuse
