Curly Wolf- Barrelhouse brewing

    Has anyone had this years Curly Wolf? I saw that they had increased barrel time from 6 months to 8 months compared to last year. Just wondering if it had bolder or stronger flavors this year, maple vanilla and bourbon sounded amazing but I felt last years was pretty thin and light on flavor.

    I've had both. Really can't tell the difference. This stout, although excellent, is way better fresh. I've aged one and the flavors fall off big time. Quality stout for sure.

    Tried it today, about what I remembered from last years batch. Also the bottle said aged 6 months just like last years so maybe what I read about increased barrel time was not correct info. Decent brew but for an extra dollar merkin or parabola gets my vote even without the adjunct flavors.
