cuvee st gilloise

    I received a bottle of cantillon cuvee st gilloise as a present today. Can you guys let me know about this beer. Im struggling to find info on it.

    Is it good? Hard to acquire? Etc.

    It's 2 year old Cantillon lambic (I believe unblended) that's dry hopped in the cask before bottling. They add some candi sugar to the bottle to achieve carbonation.

    It's somewhat similar to Iris, and yes, it's delicious.

    If you aren't into sours I would just trade it. Or save it til you are.

    i love sours and my bottle is marked 2012. so i guess its got some age on it already.

    It's a pretty awesome beer. I got to have it on tap last year and it was absolutely remarkable. I'd say it's a pretty rare find around this parts.

    awesome glad my lady got it for me, as a I'm sorry gift. guess some fights are good =)
