I have 3 bottles left out of a relatively fresh (December 2011) 4-pack I bought recently. At this point, it's too bourbon-y for me. Is it worth aging? Anyone with experience aging this beer have any advice?

I had a bottle of the 2010 in November and it was drinking really well! I kept it between 50-60 degrees in a dark cellar.

In my opinion I find this one to be very thin and lacking bourbon when its fresh. I don't see why some make a big deal out of this one. I like my bourbon barrel stouts to pack a punch. To me with age, this one just gets more boring.

We had a one-year old bottle & a fresh one when it came out this year & IMHO, the one-year bottle was better (my wife agreed). The difference wasn't huge, since the fresh bottles are already plenty smooth, so I wouldn't sweat it one way or another. A bit better at one year, but excellent fresh.

If you don't like the Bourbon flavors, let it sit for a while. I have been drinking 1-2 of these a week and I feel like the Bourbon flavors have almost disappeared by now. I guess it's a matter of personal preference.

I think it depends on the beer and your tastes. If it's to bourbon-y for ya, cellar some and try another bottle in 6-12 months. I like a nice balance and don't like bourbon forward beers as well, I like to taste the beer/stout otherwise I would have some bourbon.

I completely agree. The bourbon is fading so fast.
