CW Bourbon Barrel Stout

Believe it came and went. Seems like there was quite a bit less of it this year compared to years past.

 

Picked up a 4 pack at Skokie Binny's maybe 2 werks ago. Haven't seen it since though.

 

Any luck yet?

I believe I got mine the week before NYE at Binnys

 

Talked to a person at Binnys and they said there should be another round coming. Keep the faith.

I know I need this to keep my vert going.

 

I got some at WF in LP on NYE, but was there Sunday and it was gone. I feel lucky to have grabbed a couple 4 packs with the first wave (assuming/hoping there is another). I cracked one already and it was delicious.

 

There will NOT be another round of BBS this year. That I know for a fact. Your source is wrong. Unless they are hiding some in the back its all gone out back in December. It came and went for the year. However, if any of you are coming up for the CW party this Saturday all you need to do is check Trig's or Kelly's and you'll get some.

 

The person said the Corporate had it and was waiting to send it out.

 

Huh? Corporate who? The brewery does not have any more to send. So unless its a local distributor hoarding it, im not aware of any secondary release of this beer. Sorry.

 

I picked up a 4 pack at the Whole Foods Lakeview (Ashland) on Saturday. Haven't been in there since but they are usually helpful on the phone if you call.

I'm just wondering as to who you are referring to as corporate, the brewery, distributor or other? But if you don't want to answer that's fine. Hopefully you find some, but I wouldn't hold your breath on it. Plenty of it out up here if you plan to come up for the party. Ciao

 

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that Binny's or the distributor maybe has a corporate warehouse, and not assume Central Waters has a corporate anything, meaning both of you *could* be correct.

 

I could certainly be wrong, but I don't think there is any corporate warehouse for Binny's.

Probably not, but my point was that I doubt central waters has anything they refer to as corporate, so it's possible that the brewery is out of the beer, but based on the information given, Binnys could have some stashed somewhere.

 

CW doesn't even have any BBS left to sell at the party. They said that yesterday. But like I said, its still in stores around here.
