Cycle Brewing (2020)

I have seen posts on untapped that appear the be draft and onsite but i havent gone yet to confirm

 

We have new hours starting today! We opened back up last week, but wanted to work out some logistics before officially announcing it. The new hours are:⁣⁣

* Monday-Thursday: 4pm-10pm⁣⁣
* Friday-Sunday: 1pm-10pm⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We have seating inside and outside. Inside seating has been reduced to 50% capacity so roughly 23 guests. All seating has been spread out to allow for proper spacing between groups and we are following the CDC/state guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. We ask you to be patient and respect the social distancing guidelines. Thank you all for the continued support!! #cyclebrewing

 

Is there somewhere the taplist is posted? Headed to Cycle for the first time this weekend.

 

no tap list posted anywhere, but check untappd check ins from the brewery...there's usually one with the draft board no more than a day or two old.

 

I visited cycle this weekend. Unfortunately, the board has been erased and replaced with a laminated piece of paper on the bar. May reduce the number of people posting on untappd. However, 2020 Saturday is absolutely incredible IMO. I was also shocked how good the sours were they had on tap. Reminded me of Joose lite. Not as pulpy, but the flavor was there. I still say they do the best beer in the area. Their BA stouts are second to none.

 

Agreed on Saturday. It was amazing. The smell was decadent and all the flavors melded together nicely. I wasn't a big fan of the sour. It was fine but not on the level of Flagler and Angry Chair.

 

So... cycle sold their stout recipes to brew hub. And all the barrels in the warehouse.

They out of the beer game? Covid taking too much of a toll?

 

he’s wanted out for years. Nothing to do with Covid.

 

Sweet! Can’t wait to see how much they paid and what the terms were! Probably pretty terrific since they haven’t told me yet. I assume my bank balance will update when they open in the morning, fingers crossed!

Seriously, not much to say other than false, absurdly false. Like when we were closing in 2018, and last year and so on, we aren’t closing, never have been.
Covid sucks (severe understatement for those suffering with it, no disrespect intended) it’s taking its toll on everybody, Cycle is probably fine for the duration of the pandemic and we will see you on the other side!

Where did you hear this? We've been getting unfounded cycle rumors for a while (ie: "They're going out of business", 'they're closing the taproom")

It's certainly an interesting release. I would hope for a bit of a cheaper price point when the idea is to open several at a time... but I might still seek out a few of these.

 

As someone who has purchased every cycle bottle since the they were doing nooners with 16oz growlers at pegs, I find this lazy.

as a huge fan of their beer, I’m not impressed.

 

I think it’s a pretty solid, fun idea. In the spirit of it, would be cool if Cycle offered a discount to buy the set. My guys I do shares with would be down for something like this. Sounds like a win-win Doug @CycleBrewing ?
