What I'd really want for a release like this is a smaller bottle size. I won't be jumping on these until reviews start rolling in. I'm not doing any shares in the immediate future, and my "cuveeing" will likely be limited to two bottles at maximum, and that's still going to result in some beer staying open for a couple days.

Really wish they would package in 375-500mls on a regular. Something like this would have been better in 12oz bottles. Just my opinion though the idea of the release is pretty cool

Do you guys do this often? And if so how do you attempt to preserve the beer? I am sitting on so many 22 and 750 bottles that I simply cannot drink by myself.

I've just pop the cap back on and drink the rest the next day. In some cases the beer tasted better the next day
Edit* I mean it might not be the correct way to do it, but I haven't noticed anything bad the handful of times I have done it

I use silicone stoppers, half a bottle holds fine for a day or two. Oxidation can usually be noted on the second serving, but sometimes it's a positive.

I have not done this but a buddy used one of those resealing rubber corks for wine bottles... The ones where you can pump the excess air out... But would only maybe do one or two pumps to create a tight seal and not totally remove carb

Sometimes I just put the cap back on the drink, sometimes I use a small Thermos bottle and this usually works well. Keeping away from oxygen is a key.

Yeah totally with you on that. 12oz at like 10-12 apiece would have been great so I can by all of them without feeling like an idiot.

I also do this frequently with the same results. Sometimes the beer really is better the second day. 25 oz of AC at once is just wayyyyyy to much sugar for me.

With a better explanation of the adjuncts, barrels and time in the barrels, I’m more inclined to get 1 set.

Missed the scoop set, but happy to grab the 6. Hats off to @beer30nf for proxying!

Has anyone tried them? Don't see any reviews anywhere.
