Heading up to check out Cycle this weekend with a few buddies for my birthday, staying at the Hollander.
Supposedly it's only about a half mile from the brewery. Just wondering what the neighborhood is like. Safe to walk there from the hotel? Any good places to eat close by?

    Thanks

look up some other breweries that are nearby as well (Green Bench comes to mind) and don't forget they are CASH only.

Anything south of 5ave S can get pretty ghetto but as long as you are in the main city area you shouldn't have much to worry about. Just bums as others stated however most of them just congregate at Williams park now which is 3rd st and 1 ave n.

As someone else has stated #cashonly. Oh and I think they still have bottles of Rare Dos available.

Respectively disagree. Gotta get the wings at Engine 9. Some of the best I've had had.

Really wanting to try Crank. Any idea if that's still on tap or will be this Saturday?

Cycle is pretty good about frequently posting pics of their draught board on their Facebook page. One of the breweries that does a good job keeping everyone updated to their current offerings. I'd check their FB page. Crank is delicious though!!

That's why you get both! Those Duck wings are awesome.
Yes, I obviously also recommend Engine 9.

Just want to say I'm jealous. Try the Lime pale ale at Cycle. It's bomb.

I'd bet they have crank Saturday. Also try the fixie. 2 of the best IPA's I have ever had. They have a new DIPA but not doing crowlers/growlers as of now.

As of yesterday, they still had bottles of Rare DOS. $20/each. Not sure of a limit (limit was 12 per person on the day of release but that was a while ago). I opened a bottle earlier this week and I have to say it was spectacular. I can't believe there are still bottles available!

that is crazy. if i was a smart man, i'd take all the money i plan on spending on bourbon county beers and buy up more Rare DOS.

Cycle is obvious, but definitely go to Green Bench and hit up Red Mesa Mercada next door. Get their Colorado burrito relleno style, one of the best burritos I've ever had!
