The top 10 Breweries list was posted recently and I noticed Cycle Brewing listed. Long story short, I'm heading down to FL and was thinking of stopping by but apart from a Facebook page, theres little insight as to how they sell their beer. Is it cans? Growlers? Bombers? Can anyone shed some insight?
This was linked off of their Facebook page http://www.keepsaintpetersburglocal.org/members/view/Cycle-Brewing
Don't expect to see a bunch of stouts or specialty stuff on tap. Their stouts are sold very quickly, and their tap list is generally composed of normal stuff like IPAs, light stouts and some saisons.
They sell "crowlers", cans filled and seamed there, but I think they also do growlers if you've got them. For my money I'd go with the crowlers though as they've got less oxygen pick-up and they should last longer, and in my opinion they're lighter and easier to transport. Following what dwagner said, some of the beers on tap will not be available to go so you might want to plan to hang out there for a while, which shouldn't be a problem because it's a pretty cool place with a friendly local crowd. And keep in mind that it's just a few blocks away from Green Bench.
check out the "visiting Tampa/Orlando thread" and/or "Cycle/CCB releases" thread and post in one of those for some answers to your questions
Right now they have "Of Sand and Snow" and their "Christmas" BA stouts on tap and available for crowler fills. I also believe they have Buddy Shots collab still available in bombers. They just brought back on hazelnut cream and sugar as well which is one of my faves and it's available in crowlers.
My friend @dsigmon speaks truth. Also, I'd recommend their Instagram site as a way to keep up with what they have on tap.
