I think translating the mysterious language of t-shirt might be eluding a few of us...(me)

They did a scoop shirt recently and there was no scoop bottle so is that safe to assume that this situation would be different?

I see the scooop and dbr shirts but I don’t know how that translates to bottles again necesarily. They are probably the 2 of the most popular designs they’ve put on a bottle so surely it makes sense to make a trendy shirt out of...

Sorry all. Didn't mean to sound like I was speaking in code. I don't have any more info than anyone else, but in the recent weeks I have been hearing rumors about both DBR and Scooop returning soon. And I think the continuing addition of DBR and Scooop merch may reflect that. It's odd to me that they would continue to put out new merch for 2 low bottle count beers that they only release once over a year ago.

It's all just the usual Beer Advocate speculation for me. Ask @dsigmon or @Lare453 for concrete info. Anything they post almost always turns out to be true.

It may turn out they do release these beers again soon, but, I think the primary reason for these shirts is they're two of the only relatable pieces of artwork they use on their bottles. Most other bottles are pretty generic and wouldn't work well on a t-shirt.

A bit off topic, but something that I'm curious about. I personally wouldn't wear a shirt for a beer/brewery I haven't had. To me, it would be like wearing a band shirt for a band I've never heard. Scooop and DBR were very low bottle counts and haven't been released recently(by beer standards). I've gotta assume that most people currently buying these shirts have never had these beers. Is there a large market out there for people who aren't as OCD about it as I am? Am I over thinking it?

Like the other guy sort of said, not only were those beers two of the most popular they’ve ever made, but they also happen to be (in some opinions) cool looking trendy pictures that would seem to do well on shirts. Most of their other beers are just designs, MTWThF etc... honestly I don’t think the shirts are a indictator of them being released again together or anything. Who knows though

They are definitely going to do a "Greatest Hits" Series again in late November/Early December like they did last year..heard that straight from a Cycle Employee..would have to think DBR and Scoop will be a part of that based on them putting these shirts out...now the time of the releases could change because I was told that PPP

So does that mean we will see DBR?

@BKnarr I'm with you on the shirts. It's the same with concert shirts. People were a short from a certain tour or show and they weren't even born yet, makes no sense to me.

It would be nice if they rereleased DBR. Love that beer. Just DBR though please, we don't always need a week of releases. Just a one bottle release would be great.

Why would they make shirts to coincide with a release and then start selling the shirts months before the beer release? I hope they make those beers again, but I don't think the shirts in the store are any sort of intentional foreshadowing.

The Scooop shirts came out right before the anniversary releases. They didn't have that beer as one of the releases, and didn't have it as one of the special beers on tap that Friday. I don't think the shirts signal anything about upcoming beers.

You should probably think less and rely on actual information. No, Scooop is not a part of this release. At least you're good at false claims. So you got that going for ya.

Why not just clarify the "can't miss bottles" you speak of to end the speculation?"
