Brew Hub, say it ain't so!

 

Have these guys posted a draft list in a while? I’m heading down to Tampa tomorrow and don’t want to waste my time going to to St. Pete unless Cycle has some BA on draft.

 

I'm cautiously optimistic. I would hope Doug wouldn't be doing this if the quality wasn't up to par. I wonder if they are moving draft production as well? We will know soon enough.

 

I couldn't be any less excited for those Cycle cans... hard, hard pass for me!

 

Just saw a picture on untapped and it doesn't look like any BA beers on tap. Do they ever have BA beers on tap other than days of a release?

 

Cycle has consistently had BA on tap since their anniversary this year. They currently have six BA beers both on tap and in bottles. Rare 1, Hazelnut, C+C, Rye Wheat, Stay Fancy, and Oh My Goodness. They're trying to always have BA available in bottles and draft, and the move to have their core distributed beers brewed at Brew Hub is another move towards that.

DrinksAlone, they always have their BA taps on the other wall. I messed up my first time there by not paying attention to it. Very regrettable first experience.

 

They have tons of BA beers on tap, always do, especially lately.. BUT... They have the worst fucking format on earth for them and ONLY allow full pours. Full pours make it pretty much impossible to try more than 2 of the beers at a time when you go in, which is shitty.

 

Agree. And they don’t let you taste before you buy and it’s 10-12 bucks a pour.

 

They usually don’t put them on the draft list, but on the chalk wall near the front bar...

 

Let’s not get crazy, they don’t always have them on draft. I’d say half the time. But I’m guessing that will get more frequent as they move the non ba production to brew hub.

 

Never been there when at least one BA wasn't available. Maybe I am just lucky.

 

Funny I've never been there when they are on. Feel like it's only really been the past year they've made them more available...

 

They have a separate board with the BA beers, so you probably just saw the board with the other stuff. Tried uploading a pic from untappd with the BA taplist but don’t know if it worked

I stand corrected but I have never been in there when they had more than one BA beer on draft and that is usually one they released earlier that week in bottles.
I will admit though, that I rarely go in there to drink, usually just to buy bottles. I guess I may need to roll in there for a few pours moving forward.

 

The "Rocky Road DOS" they had on tap for a few weeks after the anniversary was a fun way to see what people think about Scooop when it's detached from the hype

 

Thought Scoooop was Neapolitan flavor not rocky road?
