Ah. I went to one a couple years back. Line out the door and mega packed.... Wakefield recognize my face and grabbed me a draft so I didn't have to wait. Haha. I was very thankful for that

Chances it will still be on 3 weeks from now? actually think it could be strong, considering the actual barleywine crowd is lighter than we all act like.

I tend to go after the event dies down, place is stupid during the early hours. Might miss out on all the hyped shit but they tend to leave a whole bunch of less-hyped Wakefield on all day, and other rare stuff you don't normally see around town.

Sucks for anyone not getting to town until Thursday... No chance they have bottles left 4 days after release.

If it's anything like the other batches of beers they've made.....should be plenty left

Bottles have been sitting for so long at Cycle. I understand there will be a lot more people in town but it seems that no one is ISO Cycle anymore.

Well if no one is going to stroke my ego for acquiring them, should I even be seeking it?

Kidding I hope they do have stuff available it's just after seeing the crowd there last year I have a feeling they won't have any.

Last year they had the contamination issues so I'm assuming you mean 2 years ago. I'm not sure exactly but haven't they increased their production #'s since then? They still brew amazing beers and I love how easy they are to land.

I would be surprised if any sold out during TBBW myself for the above stated reasons. keep an eye on social media prior to getting there. I also agree with the above on their beer quality....its probably as good or better now than it ever has been.

Last year I was at the taproom after BA day was over and there was a mass of people for the BA stouts they tapped and bottle shares outside on the sidewalk.

I'm assuming that was sarcasm as you have been there plenty, but I was just trying to indicate that there were a lot of people buying beer so I wouldn't expect a lot of bottles to be available. I wasn't bragging that I attended a bottle share lol

Word of advice, don't take anything anyone from Florida says seriously. Especially in regards to beer.

Remember that even two years ago (before last year's debacle) you could roll into Cycle on Thursday and still purchase the other four week day beers that dropped that week. Combine that with larger batches, and the fact that their beers have been lasting a while as of late, and I don't think it'll be an issue. plus I feel like in their teaser post they hinted at having double digit bottles available.

You could roll in Thursday morning, sure, but all four days were gone by Thursday night. There will be no rush to get there super early, but the Hunahpu crowd that starts arriving on Thursday will snap up plenty of bottles, and without Angry Chair doing releases, they might even go a little faster. If they release the whole set during the first weekend of Beer Week as rumored, I'll be there day 1 to get it out of the way.
