Think all 5 in one day or are we doing TBBW again?

    They commented - "5 beers, 5 days .. coincidence? "

so it sounds like they like how TBBW worked out.

I had a pour from a bottle, was told it was a Neapolitan stout...it reminded me of 3 Sons Double Scoop. Didnt know exactly what it was til today.

The TBBW Releases went so smooth at 8 AM this year that you knew that was how all future releases at Cycle would probably be done

At least the Cycle releases are organized and Cycle takes care of their locals. A single BA stout released each day of the week to filter the masses

I wish J Wakefield releases were done this way instead of 3 BA stouts released on one day so the entire world camps out at 4AM.

The same argument could be made about how messed up it is that Cycle does a bottle a day with short notice and during work hours as opposed to JWB releasing 3 on a Saturday. It all depends on how you wanna look at it. I don't care how breweries do their releases. If I can make it, fine. If not, that's fine too. I'm just not gonna be that guy that criticizes every move they make

Well, Cycle has had more time to iron out the kinks for their releases. I think it's a little unfair to judge the JWB releases when they've only done 3 (?) public releases, and they are getting better with the process (think about the wristbands from the last release).

BTW, the line that day didn't officially start til about 5:30.

You can be whatever guy you want to be and I understand and value your position but you missed my point. I personally prefer weekday releases throughout the week because, as I said earlier, it "filters the masses" and allows more people the chance to get beer.

It's about communication. There were 100 wristbands and around 120 of the stouts and between 100 and 120 there were way more people than just 20 because of line jumping. The brewery should make it clear to the line that that after a certain point you're not getting beers or notify when the beer is out. I heard at least 5 different people say they got the last Moral Imperative so what I'm getting out is that better communication would be very appreciated.

Releasing "120" bottles of a slight after beer is going to be a disaster. J Wakefield will probably never realize this and will continue to do this in the future. If there's anything Wakefield is good at, it's not learning from his mistakes.
