That's the word from CCB, I'm not sure how much they made, but I'd expect it to be limited distribution amounts, because I expect this to be a popular sale out of the tasting room. Meaning they may have to keep extra behind to meet demand. The last Mekong sold out in a day and it was one of the best collabs.

Yup that was a case limit or two if I'm not mistaken and due to all the butthurt on FB about limits they then went to the 6 bottle limits ever since then.

I also expect it to be a bit more pricey than most releases because of the coconut and usage of real vanilla beans instead of vanilla extract. And then you have Zhukov coming shortly as well.

From Cigar City Brewing FB page: **Distribution Update** Good Nightmare, Mekong will only be available at the Cigar City Brewing Tasting Room and in Richmond, VA. We apologize for any frustration and/or disappointment this may cause.
So it looks like no distribution.

I've heard rumors, but this confirms it, showing all the coffee varieties.[IMG]

Sounds interesting, I know Terrapin did a similar thing earlier in the year, but there stuff is nowhere close to Cycle stouts. I'm no coffee expert and doubt I'd be able to taste the difference between most of them so I'll just try to get my hands on whichever on has the highest limits.

I'm gonna be in Richmond this week. Anyone know where these bottles of Nightmare Mekong may hit?

If you mean on draft, yes. If you mean will there be bottles in the cooler? Doubt it.

So from this I can assume no treatment?

Treatments don't seem likely if they're trying to showcase the different origins

I guess the coffee should be considered a treatment. Maybe like the most recent pallet release we will get variant treatments on tap. I'm still waiting for a brewery to treat half the bottles in a release in marked. Just as a surprise

Treat half the bottles but have them be UNmarked? Not grammar-sniping but wanna be clear on the concept. That would be interesting but I'm wondering if a brewery would be opening itself up to some significant liability exposure if, for instance, someone with a nut allergy ending up drinking an unmarked hazelnut treatment.

Has anyone heard anything more about Good Nightmare, Mekong? Nothing from the official FB pages, or the to-go bottles page, but wondering if any locals have heard...
