Cycle/ccb bottle releases

I just remember the one where they announced it ahead of time and there was a line an hour beforehand. I got there 30 minutes before they started selling and stood in line for 10 minutes then left. Came back 2 hours later and the people that were behind me still were in line. A couple of week later they put more in the cooler unannounced and those lasted for a few days because no one knew about it.

They'be improved the system by selling in the other room.

 

They are making a lot more of all of the core and once per year beers. I think it will be around for awhile. One of my local liquor stores was told he will get 3 cases.

 

There was NO problem finding MZ last year. This shouldn't even be of concern. Was around for weeks after the release at various locations. Maybe for a few bucks more than the tasting room but still.

 

Glad they are making more now then.

 

Still have quite a few Nightmare Mekong in the cooler.

 

Where do you live? This was not my experience in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. It wasn't impossible or anything, but most places sold out first day, pretty quickly actually.

 

Agreed, same here in Jacksonville. I got 1, but it was not easy.

 

MZ release details on FB; Start sales 9AM Mon 8/1, 4pp, $15 ea, cash or credit. Tasting room opens 11AM. Variant specials daily throughout week.

 

So assuming there will be bottles all week too? I'll be at CCB Friday.

Where in St. Pete? I couldn't find any 2 days after it was released from St. Pete to Brandon down to Sarasota.

 

Remember the days (2011 or so) when The 25 Ounce Bottles of Red Label MZ sat on shelves and gathered dust for over a year or more??11.....5 years makes kind of a difference!!..lol

I'll second that. I'll be in FLL this weekend and would love to grab a bottle to try since I didn't get a chance to taste it at Huna Day.

 

To anyone going to CCB they have PLENTY of it. There were two pallets of it when I went in at 10:30. No one in line.

They also have Mekong on the shelves still.

 

Skip the Zhukov, grab the Mekong. Best beer Ccb has put out in the cooler in a long time. I don't care if it's $20. It's worth it.

They make so much Zhukov now, I'd expect it to be around for a while

 

Anyone in Tampa driving down to Boca/Delray this week and want to grab me a Mekong?!? :-)
