Cycle/ccb bottle releases

Does anyone have an idea on how much VH Zhukov remains? I know there isn't a crystal ball, but enough to make it through this week?

 

If it's out at the Brewery I can tell you it hit limited distro in The Tampa Area as well...won't advertise where but if you go leuken hard enough I am sure you will find it

 

There's still some left at the brewery as of Sunday. Just check their website as you get closer to your visit. They keep the link updated.

I get a weird metallic flavor from VHMZ, also very little vanilla and zero Hazelnut. MZ is to big and roasty of a beer to add real Hazelnut trying to capture its flavor

 

I'm wondering if there is some batch (or bottle) variation. I'll post if the next bottle tastes different.

But since they were all purchased together...it seems distinctly possible that even if there is some sort of variation present, mine may all be the same batch/run/whatever.

Good limited release available until 12/14, Publix chicken tender sub $5.99, probably no need to line up just like recent Cycle releases.

 

There were at least 3-4 cases at a retailer near CCB on Tuesday as well as a bunch in the cooler at CCB itself.

Maybe it was just me, or maybe my palate was wrecked on Sunday after going down to St Pete for a few hours, but it seems like the bottle(s) of VHMZ I bought are practically a different beer (as in not as good) than what I tasted on tap at the brewery??? Anyway, brought a bottle back and will open with friends on Saturday for their opinions.

Also grabbed a bottle of &+ on Sunday night along with several pours of their BBA stouts. Friendly Cuveecide was incredible on tap and apparently is similar to &+? Also stopped at Green Bench, very impressed with their location, beer and ciders were good as well.

I had a bottle of VHMZ last night and we didn't taste any vanilla or hazelnut. It was still good, just not what I was expecting.

 

The one bottle I had was a hazelnut bomb. Muted vanilla but it showed up at room temp.

 

Agreed, the Friendly Cuveecide was incredible! Was told it was a blend of &+ and the pink beer they made with HF for charity. I forget the name...but I want crowlers/bottles of the cuvee.

 

There has to be some crazy bottle variation to he VHMZ bc I didn't get any of the hazelnut in any of mine. Kind of strange bc CCB seems to do a lot of QC.

 

Lunch today. Maybe tomorrow too.

 

I got loads of hazelnut in my bottle, but had that green barely roasted hazelnut flavor that had a little metallic like note to it. Had some vanilla when it warmed. The warmer the bottle the better it all tasted I thought.

 

You are spot on with this. It's an average bottle at best in my opinion. Pretty disappointed in the bottle I have tried.
