Thanks for the tip...just can't justify the price. $25 750s already make me cringe. That's my limit.

    You can get that anywhere.

You said it was unrelated.....I guess I'm a fool for thinking that meant a good quad, trip, or saison for your friend.

I meant stuff I can't get in GA for him that I can find here in Florida. Sorry for the confusion.

I asked what they had that wasn't on the board and they had whisky barrel aged 300. The bartender said bourbon barrel aged so I got it and didn't know it was whisky barrel (too boozy and whisky tasting to me) so I didn't like it but the cream and sugar please was great so I got a growler.

I love the Single Malt Whiskey 300. I guess it sucks that nooner, rarer, and BA DDT were gone, but if you didn't like the 300 you likely wouldn't like them either.

I was at Cycle yesterday and BA 300 and Whiskey DDT were still available on tap and for growler fills. I stopped by hoping for Rum Pumqueen but was pleasantly surprised with Whiskey DDT and left with a growler.

Damn it. I was there yesterday as well and the bartender didn't mention any of that when I asked if there was anything not on the board. Still left with C&S and Unicycle growlers

Perhaps it sold out afterward but I was there around 2pm yesterday and both were still flowing.

I like BA stuff just not whisky barrel stuff in particular.

Saint Somwhere in Tarpon Springs is what he was thinking of if I had to guess. They make good stuff. Easy to find in the liquor stores too.

Anyone know if the BA 300 or Whiskey DDT (or something similar) are on tap? I'm wondering if I should make the detour to go out that way from Tampa.

Cycle had Chocolate Bourbon batch 300 when I went there two days ago. They had just ran out of the double barrel one though.

I am planning to visit the St. Pete area in March, but I wanted to make sure I go to the right place. Ideally, I want to visit the location with the best selection of Cycle beers. Is Peg's Cantina closed? The BA page says it is.. Do I just need to visit the Cycle location on Central Ave?

correct. peg's closed in December, i believe. plus, as good as it was, peg's wasn't really close to most of the other breweries you'll want to visit in the St. Pete peninsula

Thanks for the info. So, the Cycle location on Central is a good spot?
