I opened a Twisted Jim last Friday with my tasting crew - No sign of any infection just tastiness

I will say that I prefer Abacus Sucaba

A couple years ago I had what I must presume was the only infected bottle of the first bottled batch of Melange 3. Guess it happens.

I guess I should open my Czar Jack (bottle) this week then, hadn't seen this thread or found time to open it yet. The growler of Three Hour Tour I received in the same trade was super infected, so hopefully I'm lucky on this, heh.

My bottle was pretty badly infected. The smell was still really solid - but the beer was permeated with a strange tartness. It's not a complete drain pour as some barrel semblance was present but I was looking forward to this and held onto it for a bit too long.

Yep I will Say Czar is infected, Cracked a bottle last night after work, One sip, down the damn drain!!! This blows pretty bad for sure. I'm in the process of sending a email to TH, I'm sure many that have cracked one recently have done the same

I opened one four weeks ago & it was fine. Had a trading partner who wanted one & I'm damn well not going to send out something that might be infected. So we popped the other one & it was good.

Did have a Buffalo Bock a couple weeks before that, definitely something wrong with that one. Seems to be bottle-by-bottle, unfortunately.

The bottle i tried was infected. Its a shame since i loved the last two releases. The beer was mildly tart, thin bodied, and overall not pleasant.. ended up drain pouring it.

The bottle of Czar Jack I had over the weekend was also infected... the Buffalo Bock was good though. I will join in the choir of saying that last year's release was amazing and this year's was very sad.
