Was lucky enough to get a glass of this at Townhall Tap last week, super impressed it was a great beer.

They seem to be going in even higher demand than the growlers traded for last year.

Anybody try the Bourbon Edmund Fitz from the less recognized (but equally as awesome) Fitger's Brewhouse in Duluth?

Bottle count was just under 300, but don't see those bottles pop up in the trade forums much at all.

    Just curious...

Fitger's Edmond Fitzgerald bottle count this year was 276

I thought it was a bit boozy so i'm letting mine sit. I've traded away three of them already with other TH beers. Agreed i don't see much action in the ISO:FT section for these.

Fitger's Decadence bottle count this year was 200

I've gotten a lot of interest in these and ended up trading my only two bottles. One trade was too good to pass up.

I think with Fitger's being in Duluth makes them very unknown where as Town Hall has the Twin City behind them. I love them both and miss have a reason to go to Duluth as offen as I used to.

Fitger's Framboise was excellent, I'd love to have that beer again.

    Is this beer barrel aged?

It was aged in Jack Daniels Barrels.

I hope it is good, I have a bottle along with a bottle of 2011 darkness for a IP trade for 2 bottles of Imperial Stout Trooper later this year.

Hope my trading partner likes it, he said to get something from Fitgers when I told him I'd be in the area, and they were sold out of decadance and the Edmund Fitz.

If he likes sours, he should like the Framboise.

IIRC he does, our last trade was for some Surly 5.
