Gotta look around the city. The most recent one I stopped at was in the West Loop and they had DC and Over Ale

+1 to getting it at the brewery. I've had cans from Binny's, which I enjoyed quite a bit. Then this week I got a 4 pack from the brewery... Damn it's good! The hops are really more intense the fresher you get it (duh!), but in my opinion, there is a very noticeable difference.

Actually, it's because they are too far south that they can't get it. Half Acre's distributor doesn't/won't/can't distribute to the South side at all. I don't think the South Loop Binny's gets any Half Acre and that's barely the South side!

I was at Binny's South Loop yesterday they said they normally have Daisy Cutter but they haven't been able to get any for a little over a month and he didn't know why.

I've bought it at the South Loop before, but it wasn't there Sunday when I stopped by.

Then I stand corrected! Maybe the South Loop Binnys is as far south as Half Acre gets. Or used to get and now it's all changed.

At least when they started distribution, Half Acre was limited to the North side of the city. I'm pretty sure.

Daisy Cutter has been largely unavailable in most of Chicago due to construction and adding in several tanks that has limited production. The only place you can buy it fresh seems to be the brewery. I was at several Binny's in the suburbs that had it, but the cases were from December 2011.. Don't take your chance, just visit the brewery and buy it.
