On my way to Dallas today for tomorrow's Michigan/Alabama game and would appreciate some local ba help with must places to hit during my stay (breweries/bars/stores). Thank and cheers!

Meddelsome Moth is a must if your in Dallas! The best/biggest selection bar in Dallas.

I second the vote for Meddlesome Moth. Great tap selection and excellent food to boot.

Not beer related but real close to Meddlesome: Zaguan. Great Latin American bakery and food. Good low key place for a bite to eat, esp for breakfast and brunch.

^ Absolute must. After that, Common Table is within easy driving distance (1.5 miles, route and heat not conducive to walking), and from Common Table you've got an easy walk (.2 miles) to Gingerman. That should get the job done.

Before or after that, cruise up to Total Wine and Spec's (75 north, exit park for Total Wine, then go north up the access road to walnut hill and turn right for Spec's). That's the best of Dallas in a five mile radius. If you have time, Lonestar in Carrollton is probably my favorite, but it's a bit of a hike.

Fourth on the Moth. I visit that place anytime I visit the Dallas area. Look for the tap with the medal on it, that means it's on sale. <- Protip Very stylish bar setup and tons of taps that you won't find elsewhere on draft.

Strangeways is my go to. They just tapped Ballast Point Dorado Double IPA and Southern Star's Proamm Double IPA. Tons of amazing stuff in a much more relaxed enviroment... In my opinion.

Forgot about Strangeways! It's not near anything else, but it is very good.

Thanks a bunch to all of you. Now just have to get my non-ba group to head over to a couple of these places.

The places mentioned above have some really good food as well, so even if your non-ba friends arnt willing to go for the good beers, they can/should still be willing to go for the good foods.
