Hit submit by accident. Anyway, anybody have any suggestions on bottle shops to get local offerings? Is sip of sunshine available in Connecticut since they brew it there?

Yes SOS is available, but you're gonna be out of luck unless you call around and get lucky to have a place hold a 4 pack of it. It's generally not something you just stumble on.

How far do the distribution channels go?

it definitely makes it up to Danbury/Ridgefield area but most of the stores there are smaller and get a very small amount of SoS.

Your best bet would be to try and find an in-person trade with someone from the area with Sos or Gandhi-Bot using someone local from PA.

Most of these shops are small, have a local clientele, and are already swamped with people calling/visiting the store looking for SoS, Bot & Captain's Daughter.

Best stores in those two towns are Anconas (Ridgefield), Fairgrounds and Stew Leonard's. Caraluzzis and their nearby liquor store called Nutmeg in Bethel are decent choices as well.

Hit up Little Pub (right by Anconas) for beer and food. They will always have something from Maine Beer on tap plus one other good tap selection complemented by a solid bottle / can selection.

Lawson's will be difficult to acquire in store. Of the ones I listed, only Caraluzzis (which is actually a grocery store) puts it on the shelf with any regularity.

A more likely IPA to hunt would be Sea Hag. Greenwoods in Bethel and My Place in Newtown also have good tap lists should you venture out. Where are you staying and for how long?

sip has gotten pretty easy to find on tap lately imo if you strike out on cans.
