    My kegerator is leaking CO2 from the female receptor. The nut that screws onto the tank is leaking air out the back end (in between the CO2 pipe and the nut). I tried thread seal tape but it didn't seem to work.
    Any suggestions or anyone have the same issue?

    Thread seal tape won't help because the threads on that connector are not designed to seal. There should be a nylon or fiber washer between the regulator and the tank. Here's one: http://www.leeners.com/homebrew/store/co2-washer.shtml
    It's good idea to keep a few on hand. At $.15 each, no reason not to. Many CO2 suppliers will give you one at no charge if you ask.

    Many regulators are sold as a;
    • "Thick Nylon Seal on inlet nipple is permanent to help eliminate a source of leaks... no need to use a new fiber washer each time tank is changed"
    ...yet that 15ยข washer works 99.9% of the time.
