Huh. Well, on the DirtWolf a lot of beeradvacate reviewers agree with me (the word "dank" appears a bunch in the reviews)..... but I guess it is a matter of taste/opinion. Anyhows, try it anyway, it is some good shit!

Dank IPAs are the only ones I like these days (sorry Pine is great too) - no OJ IPA for me.
Look for anything with Columbus or CTZ combo. NY's Barrier Dunegrass is my favorite (whenever they get around to making it)
Would like more nationally available choices though.

columbus for sure. My brew buddies and I always joke about "taking a hit" off a freshly opened bag of hops on brew days. Nothing like sticking your nose straight in and taking a big ol sniff.

Thanks for all of the replies. Dirt Wolf is great, but I wouldn't say it's danky. I think Lagunitas Hop Stoopid is more along the lines of what I'm looking for.

Start with 'Ruination 2.0' (Stone Brewing Co.) - the original defined the word 'dank' in the craft brewing vernacular so I would maintain that version 2.0 would live up to that profile. If not, get your hands on some 'Enjoy By XX.XX.XXXX' also by Stone Brewing Co.

Good Luck sourcing IPA/DIPAs with your flavor profile in mind!

There is also RuinTen which fits the profile.

I think part of the problem with finding a dank IPA is that the real in your face dankness wears off pretty quickly so you also have to find it fresh.

Carton egoipa is the dankest I've had recently. Think it is the centennial hops that have that cave/onion/garlic thing

I have had 7 of the beers on that list and none of those beers tasted dank to me.

    Cheers!

Maharaja is the only one off that list that I would call dank. Sculpin? Not so much...

I've had 7 as well (I'm guessing the same 7) and would agree. That list is 6 years old though and a lot has changed in that time.

True, but I have been drinking some of those beers for well over 6 years (BP, GF, SN...) and didn't think that back then....

@dwarke Not sure how far you are from Tired Hands, but their can release today includes Technicolor Splendor, which is a simcoe spelt DIPA, and pretty dank. Highly recommended.
