"Dank" Brews: What do you recommend?

    I've had a craving for a certain taste as of late, I love my hoppy /citrus beers , but I'm looking for recommendations on some good IPAs available in NC or VA that fit the "Dank" description, I've also seen people use "onion" and "cat urine" to explain the taste...sounds weird that someone would crave that, but I'm sure most of you know the taste. Other beers with similar tastes would be , Enjoy by, Dugana , Bitter Valentine and Wookey Jack. Any and all suggestions are much appreciated!

    Green Flash as mentioned above and Daisy Cutter, Double Daisy Cutter if you can get a hold of it.

    Lawson's Double Sunshine... the cat piss fills the room when you crack one... and I live with 3 cats.

    HF double Citra is similar. Heady Topper has those aromas too but there is so much more going on.

    Oskar Blues G'night has some of this going on as does DCBrau On the Wings of Armegeddon, if you can get that.

    I know nothing of Hardywood Park in Richmond, but they have a stellar reputation - check out their IPA's.

    ZD is definitely at the top of my list of "wants" but I'm a complete noob to the trading world lol...I have been checking the ISO/FT trade section though, in the hopes that there is somthing available here that people want but that's usually not the case :/

    Not sure if you guys get Weyerbacher down in NC but their Double Simcoe IPA is about as dank as beer gets.

    Oh yeah! Hopslam for sure, I was glad to get ahold of some when I did, but the availability didn't last long lol

    DC is about 6 hours from me but I do have some family in northern VA, I'm hoping they can get ahold of some OTWOA for me, I'm really looking forward to trying it!

    Had the newly reformulated Oskar Blues Gubna last night. Tasted like weed with a little malt thrown in there somewhere.

    Seeing as Oskar Blues is brewing in NC, I shouldn't have a problem finding that, I've yet to see it here yet though. Sounds right up my alley lol

    Another good one but draft only is Dark Horse "smells like weed". Yes that's what it is called.
