    That'd be awesome! I could no doubt send you something in return! I'm hoping Lunch makes it out this way when it does come back, several other of their beers are showing up in VA now, MO is a pretty kick ass beer too!

    I'm seeing a lot of good things about Alpine, not available here either ...or Pliny lol I guess this is where I need to get my feet wet in trading, I'm missing out on so many good beers :slight_frown:

    Definitely fresh Hoptimum. Also, Weyerbacher Unfiltered Double Simcoe is super weedy.

    Yeah, trade for some Alpine. Come to think of it, Duet, Nelson, and Hoppy Birthday (growlers only) are DANK as all hell.

    Just so you all know, if you describe your beer as being similar to Marijuana, it is probably at least slightly skunked.

    2011 I would agree, last year not at all. The 2011 Devil Dancer was by far the most weed tasting beer I've ever had. The aftertaste was like you just hit a blunt, so good. I didn't get that from it at all last year, very disappointed.

    Well, off the top of my head, I can't seem to remember when the last time (although, I probably have had at least one) I had a beer that reminded me of a serial killer's basement.

    I live a mile from Hardywood Park! They are phenomenal. The Hoplar- their DIPA comes out soon. Let's trade for some Vermont Goodies!

    Can't believe no one has mentioned Fat Head's Head Hunter (definitely has that onion/garlic thing going on).....though you won't be able to find it in NC. Weyerbacher's Double Simcoe is a good one too.

    Unfortunately, NC isn't really known for our IPA's. When all else fails just go with Olde Hickory.

    I doubt it will ever happen again but, Lawson's did a Funky Sunshine a few years back. It was the most weed smellin' beer ever, the taste was more citrus.

    We had a great debate this weekend by what you consider makes a beer "dank", my buddies were saying that it is the sweetness caused by heavily malted DIPAs which I disagree. To me, dank beers have an excess hopping that hangs really late on the palate after the rest of the mouth has come and gone.

    I dont think that I have ever had a beer danker than Oskar Blues Deviant Dale's. It is far from my favorite DIPA ever, but it so unique and interesting, that I buy a 4 pack every year.
