"dank?"

I never knew there were so many beers that are similar to a serial killers basement.

 

Modus hoperandi tastes like the weed I used to smoke in college. Sticky and resiny.
On a side note I didn't get any dank from HT.

If you happen to live in a state that has chosen to give you access to or the right to have medical cannabis (or if you just plain don't let the man keep you down), next time you homebrew up a pale ale, cut back on the hop bill towards the end of the boil and instead put in about 2oz/5gal of high quality trim or shake. We call it HighPA around here.

Best of luck! We narrowly missed on Prop 19 a couple years ago. You might have a new resident in 2013 if you get 502 through! :-)

 

It's funny, most of the stoners are against it. Back in the day, my friends and I wished for the ability to just go to the store and pick some up while we were grabbing a sixer.

 

A lot of stoners that oppose cannabis prohibition reform in medical marijuana states have spent a lot of time and money, at great risk to themselves, to go into business as a medical dispensary or an underground cultivator, and don't want to see their investment vanish in a puff of smoke when walmart starts growing and selling the stuff on the grand scale.

Yet I think it's more like the wine (and burgeoning beer) industries. The stuff is better when produced on a small scale by a small team of passionate workers that know and love their own line up of products. Cannabis will fit right in to that business model, and while walmart will have the BMC version of ganja, the small "micro-groweries" will be the place to get the good stuff, just like know it is with beer.

 

Oh yeah. That, and they don't want to pay taxes on it. It's funny, they're "Liberal" on most all other issues, but on taxing their weed? Romney would win in a landslide if he ran on a "no weed tax" platform. Conservative potheads? What's next, dogs living with cats?

 

Green Flash Imperial IPA has got a dank note to it. Heady nugs was the first thing that came to mind when I sampled it the first time.

 

Exactly. Sativa=dank, earthy, even musty. Indica=well, skunky, sickly sweet.

 

I find wet hopped beers to be quite dank.

Hoptimum and palate wrecker are the two dankest beers I have had. In my day I smoked the finest greens!
