I am considering traveling to Tampa for TBBW and the Dark Embrace Invitational this year. For anyone that has attended prior years of Dark Embrace - how was your experience and would you recommend attending this year? Is the early entry with the VIP ticket worth it? Thanks!
Last years Dark Embrace was held outdoors in a park in downtown Tampa. Beautiful day and a bit warm. Great beers great crowd. I was excited about this year till I heard they are having the event at Angry Chair in the parking lot. Love AG, but this sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Last year was good. This year they are using all of the AC property to hold the event. Which means you'll likely have zero to no parking on site.
Congratulations to Angry Chair on holding an absolutely great Dark Embrace on Saturday. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about the smaller space, but they managed to pull it off between the tents and utilizing the barrel room. Great time had by all. My buddy and I had the good sense to ask for half pours and shared those. So many great BA Stouts. Impossible to NOT have some palate fatigue after all that, but we survived it. CHEERS !!!
Did you had a vip ticket? And how about lines and beers running out fast? I’m considering to make the trip next year and would like to have some more info about the festival
