I am in the same boat.
If one has the $$$, is this a difficult goal to achieve at this event?

Not really. Seems like there is a lot of everything to go around.

Note to the first timers: don't get too excited at the list and think you need to show up super early. Even if people max out all of their allotments, there is enough for 225+ people on nearly everything. Last year, by 8:30 pm, you could still get nearly everything from the list. Majority of people don't have the cash to get everything, so it lasts a while.

Tons of people were buying one case or much less of BB Plead and very few were getting full allotments. I don't expect much to change in that regard. So much beer to go around here... can't wait!

Does anyone remember if the prices include tax and deposit or if that is on top of the listed prices?

I feel like it was part of the price too, but can't remember for sure. Trying to get a list together and make sure I have enough money to cover it all is fun.

4 Elf isn't that good. I bought a four pack last year because my girlfriend likes it.

Haha that's what I was thinking. Some asshole (from Chicago, of course) is going to buy them all and we wont get any. Then I remembered it wasn't that great and I just smirked to myself that the asshole would be stuck with 180 cases of mediocre beer.

wow, I really liked it, granted it was a four pack I had like 2 or 3 years ago. I thought it was a pretty good winter warmer, maybe time has warped my sensibilities.

I'm basically in the same boat as tinypyramids. Would love a 4-pack of BB plead and a bottle of Monster 29 and/or BB Monster 29 (although I realize with the limits on those there's not as much capacity for muling). If someone from Chicago wants to mule, I can reimburse plus add a Wisconsin exclusive or some Surly Furious. Or, I could grab some Revolution Straightjacket if you want some of that and you can't make it to that event.

I was excited to go to this event until I realized how sick some of you people are. Now I absolutely can't wait to go to this event.

So thats why I was able to buy a four pack that was sitting around the brewpub on the floor a week or two later a few years ago. I thought it was a great beer but it was a while ago. Just funny that people will be lining up for the 4 Elf party for everything but the namesake.

The 4 Elf party has been going for awhile, but only got really popular with the release of BBPT5.

Never too late to change the name to the Plead the 5th party - make it a lot easier for BAs to show up "in costume" and get in for free.

I wasn't sure, but I know they were overwhelmed the year they released BBPT5. I should know I was there. I dont believe they ever had close to that many people.

Guys, could use some major help here. Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to get up to Dark Horse this Saturday. Any BA willing to mule 4 bottles of King of the Forest for me? I've loved it since I had it last year. I'm in Anderson, IN and would either make it up in kind with beer or pay for the bottles and shipping. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just BM me.

My pregnant wife and I went to KBS day, got up at like 5am to drive over there from Detroit. Waited in line in the cold with me the whole time and never complained once. She was also the DD home, and let me have as much as I wanted inside. She also isn't really a fan of bourbon barrel beers (she's more of an ipa girl) so I got to drink her half of the case as well. Did I mention that she gave birth to our first son 2 weeks later.....Yeah, she's a keeper!

I dont think its called mule'ing when you ask someone to pick up their full allotment and then give it all to you. Thats more like caeser'ing or king george'ing.

Would anyone like to caeser or king George for me then? I'd be more than happy to get 1-2 bottles, but I just meant I would go up to 4.

Anyone going to the event from the Pittsburgh area? I'd love a 4-pack of the BB Plead the 5th if you're not planning to buy the full 2 cases. I'd either buy it or figure out something to trade you.
