when did the Dark Horse logo and/or the Pt5 label change?

trying to find out roughly how old the bottle on the left is (the bottle on the right is brand new - purchased a week ago)

I believe the latest release is the only one with the new label. I have bottles from 2009-2011 with the older label if I remember correctly.

thats what I was thinking too without checking bottles.

op, they used to use plain gold caps too before the logo'd cap so that would be another way to date the bottle. then if it said '750ml stout' rather than pt5, it would be even earlier.

Sorry, I was wrong. just went and looked at some and before this it looks like they were black caps over several years. I looked at an 08 and a 10 and could not tell the difference between them. only way I could tell was my markings on the case boxes. I even looked at the bottle mfg codes, the raised numbers on the bottom edge of the bottle and couldn't gather much. looks like the goldish caps were just on the 750ml which were 05.

so best guess is your older bottle is 08-10.

I got some bottles of this year's release that had that same label (I believe). I feel like they may have just used up some old labels before switching to their new ones. I can be no means be sure of this statement though, this was just my thought.
