Dark Lord '09 and '10

    Any feedback on how these are holding up? And what they're trading for?

    I got a bottle of 2010 last year for 2 bottles of Alpine Expo.

    Did this tasting earlier on New Year's Day. 11 was the best by far, 12 was very good, 13 was still fresh, 10 had started to fall off, and 9 was too far gone.

    Agreed, it thought the 09 & 10 I had weren't that great. Weren't my favs by any means but that's just my opinion.

    We did the entire vertical back in May. 2010 was my favorite, though it wasn't hard to beat out the other vintages. The 2009 was too sweet and soy sauce-like. The 2011 has the most coffee flavor if that's your thing.

    I put in some decent details in my review of the beer.

    2010 and 2011 are drinking best right now, I think. Haven't had an 09 though, but I've had everything after that.
