Who else wants to see the Totally Epic Bourbon Barrel Aged Awesomeness com back at DL?

 

I was thinking the exact same thing. However, they havent had ZD 6ers/cases for sale at the pub for a few days now so unless they put it back on for sale by sat they r def stockpiling it. I'm sure they know that's gonna b their biggest seller this wknd so they needed to hold off sales on that the week leading up to DLD.

Don't know how that happened cuz we were at XV then went to the pub the day after for lunch and they had ZD for sale. Maybe they held some back to sell after XV?? Who knows.

 

This guy, that was actually a rotating tap of different BA beers throughout the night, I know for fact it was BA behemoth at one point and BA Robert the Bruce w/ rasberries at another point, cant remember what else - the details are a little hazy

 

Was this the same tap that also had some of the BA beers sold that day? I remember having a Cuvee De Viking, just can't remember if it was from this same tap or not.

 

How are cabs this weekend? I'm not staying right in munster but nearby and I'm going to need a cab. Anyone know the reliability?

cabs do not exist in the region...in the normal sense...you may be able to find one for hire for specific times...but you won't flag one

 

must have...or the temp working the table thought they were out??....

 

Not sure how often they stock up but Zombie Dust was sold out when I was there on Sunday.

 

i just sent my brother over there and he picked up 2 cases so we don't have to lug them around on DLD...also picked up a few bombers of LAN and Rye'd the Lightning

 

I saw somebody post that they were going to drive to FFF Saturday morning and leave their car there till Sunday morning. Is that allowed? I want to have my car nearby to drop things off but if I could just leave it and take a cab if I drink too much, I'd like to pick it up the following morning.

 

That was me that posted that. That was exactly our thought process too in regards to having somewhere to put our beer. We lugged around 4 cases and bombers at XV and it's a pain in the ass!

 

It's not on their tap list but I just called and they do have the DUST for sale to go

 

Wasn't the line to buy their regular beer different than the line to buy the DLD? That's what I remember from last year. My memory could be "tainted" though.

 

nope. You got through the line for DL and the other beer was for sale just on the other side of the main beers. You still had to be in line for DL though.

 

Oh by the way, latest forecast for Saturday: hiigh of 44 degrees with a 70% chance of rain .

 

O YEAH!!!! I mean...ok. Seriously though, dress warm and bring a poncho.

 

My wife and I have 2 A tickets and were planning on coming up from Texas on Friday. Unfortunately, some last minute grad school stuff may get in the way. If we decide that we can't come, I'd like to overnight the tickets to someone who (a) will enjoy the event as much as we would have, and (b) will share the DL allotment with us. Any leads on someone like that in this thread?

Also, all the talk about the cold weather has these Texans worried. I know the brewpub is open but that most of the event is outside, right? Are there closed-in tents, or is everything just out in the open?
