Find somewhere in a 2 mile radius then walk. You got it. If parking will cause issues with the wifey, I can't imagine what the rain and cold will do. Good luck there!

Last year they had a "parking lot" in the grass across the street from the brewery. I believe it was $20 to park there, and it filled up pretty quickly. If you get there too late for that, your best bet is to try and find parking somewhere else in the industrial park (careful though, as many places will have "No DLD parking" signs along the side of the road), or across Calumet Ave. at the park (I think a lot of people do this, not sure of the walking time/distance).

That is true, they had that whole side of the road blockaded at XV, if I remember correctly. You couldn't go south of the gates unless you went all the way around the industrial park. Hopefully they'll keep it the same as last DLD, as with more than 2X the number of attendees, parking is going to be at a premium!

I don't know why no one has thought to park there, but directly behind FFF is a housing complex. I assume the streets there are legal parking.

For the last few dld's I thought the park had a sign for no dld parking?

You could be right. I haven't parked there before but I know people have. I know the parking restrictions have seemingly ramped up consistently every year since I've been going.

There was a pic (chicago tribune I think) that made it look like the bottle was different. The neck appeared to be shorter and have a shoulder at the base.

I noticed that as well, which got me thinking... Weren't the -bal 750s in those type of bottles last year? Would FFF dare make the move to putting all of the Dark Lord in 750s? It wouldn't make sense to me because I doubt they have the bottling capacity for it, but it did have me curious...

For those of you asking, the Bourbon barrel aged DL this year is a blend of different barrels. The Muerte is made with Ancho and Guajillo chilies.
