FFF should put ads on the DLD website and start paying us royalties due to all the "double checking" traffic this thread generates to their site.

DLD Newb, so I have a few questions:
    1) How much are pours from the breweries usually?
    2) For the bottle share: What types of beer do people usually like to see? Big Stouts, Sours, NE IPAs? Local stuff? What do you usually try to sample?

That indeed was me on the left edge there. Pouring monkish and deguarde for everyone.

Tough crowd here this year. Wristband e-mails are going out and no one has even remotely freaked out about not getting an e-mail yet. There should be at least a page of this by now.

    1) Usually, for most stuff, it was $5 per pour. For rarer, more limited pours it was $10.
    2) People bring whatever they like to drink. You'll see whales, you'll see all styles, and you'll see plenty of local stuff from wherever people are coming from. Don't feel pressure to bring anything specific. Bring stuff you want to drink or stuff you don't mind opening with other generous people who will also be pouring you something generous themselves.

I may not be totally correct here (pretty drunk) but I think in 2015 they were like $5-6? 2016 had the drink tickets so they must have been $5. I cant remember if barrel aged/rarer stuff was more expensive.

Edit: I see I was beat to the punch. And yeah totally what he said on Question 2, its whatever you like. Dont let the beer snobs dictate what you bring, a lot of the people will share without demanding or requesting anything from you.

Bring locals - most importantly, bring what you and your friends want to drink. Be liberal about offering sips to people around you, and Karma will reward you.

I'm gonna take this to mean that you are pretty drunk right now - congrats for starting early!

I just realized that we are 76 pages in and I haven't had to call @croush a poopy head yet.

    1. $5 for a 16oz pour, sometimes the barrel aged stuff is $5 for an 8oz pour, or it is $10 for a 16oz pour. They don't give you a choice of pour size, it just seems to be a tent by tent or maybe year by year thing.
    2. everything you listed

Apparently they were having issues with one of the variants so they pulled it from one barrel and put it in another type creating a double barreled concoction: Dark Lord aged in Palm Wine and Constantia Barrels with galangal, sumac and tamarind?

Looks like we know who to blame for not getting this thread's page count higher.

People always overthink this. Bring whatever *you* want to drink. And share generously.

If someone doesn’t like it or want it, that’s not your problem.
