Realistically how are Henna releases? Do you have to be in line hours before the releases to get a shot at buying a bottle?

 

Last line release which was non-barrel aged had 300+ people in line by 6:00

 

Considering all the people in town for DLD this has the potential to be one amazing disaster.

 

I was in the Double Rainbow line at 6 am and was like 182.. I remember 'cause first 200 got two bottles

 

Well Henna b2 was a completely different scenario. I showed up around 6am and was around 400-500 in line.

 

I can believe that after how good b1 was. Welp, then I guess it's truly going to be a disaster. No lining up until 7 am means hundreds of people sitting in their cars and then stampeding as the time grows closer. There Will Be Blood..

I may just dress as a scraggly homeless man and lay down on the screet right outside somewhere at like 6

 

Don't they say specifically people can't line up until 7am? Do most people just ignore this?

 

When has ''Do not line up before X' ever been observed is the better question. FOMO is an unstoppable force.

Anyone get their wristbands yet? UPS tracking is indicating mine are supposed to arrive tomorrow. Just curious if anyone's gone through the activation of the wristband process and how it works with the +1 guest activating their wristband.

 

I got a text from USPS that mine are delivered tomorrow as well, don't think anyone has gotten theirs yet. you can attach a second debit/credit card to the second wristband.

They said something to effect of "it's a village ordinance that nobody lines up till 7am" and "this has always been the case." Which basically means they said not to line up early but there's nothing they can do if you show up and get in line *wink *wink...

 

Wristbands are scheduled for delivery tomorrow, that should give us at least 10 more pages of useless banter.

 

I heard if you have a TSA Pre KTN you can skip the lines and chose your variant.

A variant will not be guaranteed. You will receive a variant or 2 vintage bottles of Dark Lord beer.

 

BOTTLE SHARING
There are several rules in place with regard to bottle sharing:

1. No wine or liquor is allowed on the premises.
2. Beer brought in must fit in your backpack and may not exceed 288 oz., which is the equivalent of one case of beer. Backpacks should be of standard size (approximately 10” X 10” X 16”, able to fit in a milk crate), no frames and no wheels.
3. Beer that is brought into Dark Lord Day may be consumed or traded.
4. Beer may be carried out of the festival grounds, but it must be in sealed, unopened containers.

Thank you for your cooperation in closely following the above provisions when you come to Dark Lord Day 2018.
