I get that the share's huge, but if that's your attitude why come? It's not like people will forget about Prairie.

I haven't really gotten into the share since they went to the ginormous tent days. Too crowded. My favorite time of the share was back when it was some picnic benches in the front parking lot of 3F (in front of the pub or so). Now a days I just roam around looking for good taps (both 3F and guest).

Don’t get too excited about the guest taps unless you are willing to drink your fair share of 3 Floyd’s year round beers.

If you finish your mandatory 3 pours of yum yum, then maybe we’ll put something else on... maybe

I have a lot of Two hearted in my fridge right now. The sight of all those bottles of #whales would bring a grown man to his knees.

DLD generally has a great taplist but since it is not announced and easy to miss, if you spend all day bottle sharing, people tend to criticize it. But if you check after the fact all of the stuff people had on tap it is an impressive list. Remember it is a 12 hour fest when most beer fests cram all the taps into 2-4 hours so you see everything good right away.

2016 did suck though, the rain caused people to stay in the tents and the taps never to rotate.

I have stayed in local hotels, Hammond and Scherrervile (sp?) and used the shuttle service or Uber to drop bottles off after I grabbed them and then used the same service to head back to the fest. I thought that was better than carrying around bottles with the occasional thievery that goes on and my state of consciousness as the day wears on. Spend $20 extra bucks, but bottles are secure.

I'm guessing she did not like his careless coding & let him know about it.

Count me in as one of those who think it's jank if the glitch mob gets to keep their tickets. Then again, I'm sure some beer geek is gonna argue the point, undoubtedly with something mature like, "Nah nah, finder's keepers."

I'm just saying I don't really get the point. They probably won't win any new fans with what they bring. They won't lose any fans if they don't show up. I guess maybe the guys there just really want to go to DLD and figure they might as well bring something?

In 2011 we shared on some pallettes in the sun between FFF and the line to get bottles.

Another Oklahoman here. In terms of taps from Prairie, I would bet Pirate Paradise, Noir Variant (likely Vanilla/Coffee), Pirate Bomb, maybe one of their Color Block IPAs, possibly Nigerian Prince.

Things that won't make it for sure: any single barrel Dawg beer (one barrel, all bottled), Apple Brandy Noir (kegs won't be done til summer).
With the exception of any brought in bottles by people driving too damn far.

I disagree completely. 2016 was rough because of the rain, but I’ve had some amazing stuff on draft over the years, and the excitement when they start writing some awesome beer on the chalkboard is one of the best feelings at the fest.

Beers I tried the last 3 years from the tap, and this is just off the top of my head.

Will you be my DLD spiritual guide? Every time I ventured away from my friend group camping spot, I got lost and scared. I think I only ever got an oil of gladness.
